It is not easy to find a job that suitable with u

Do u agree with my statement? I am totally agree because I've experience it. But some of them out there it is not like that. They think zaman sekarang if we have a good result in degree, the job will find us. well, it's a BIG NO NO here. its the other way around, we have to look for a job that available out there. there are too competitive. just like an interviewer from VADS, he told me, there are too many people graduate from various university. u imagine, last time, IPTA is only less than 10. There are UM, ITM, UPM, UTM, and UKM. but today, IPTA itself have at least 20, not including UiTM yang ada campus in every states in Malaysia. How about IPTS? those Universities, these Colleges, that Institute, this University College. can u guys imagine how competitive it is?

Plus a degree holder like me, took the common course that in every universities and colleges offer, marketing management, business admin, do u know that the statistics of degree holder with this course is more than 20,000 people? so i have to compete with the other 20,000 degree holders who have the same degree like me. how to do that?

the interviewer add more, he told me that i dont have any experience. I just have 4 months experience from industrial training. for him, its nothing. for him i'm still zero. because what i learn is different from what is in the real working life. and for him, as a fresh graduate with a very low grades, he suggest me and the other fresh graduates to find an experience first. thats the most important thing. then after u've got an experience, u can demand on what job do u want and the salary. that is how it works.

Masa my first time interview yang open interview for cimb, ada sorang kakak ni cakap dia menyesal resign dulu. if she knows susah gila nak dapat kerja sekarang, she wont resign! sekarang baru rasa. dia pun kena compete with the people like us.

a friend of mine who have got dean's list twice and her cgpa is more than 3, but she still looking for a job. she got a full package. pandai, 1st class english speaking, very confident in presentation, but still, no one want to hire her. she's not too choosy, but some of the company said that her result is too high and not suitable for this and that position. just like me when i go for the icimb interview, the interviewer said that i'm not suitable with this position and more to outdoor marketing. what's the different actually? i'm still do the marketing job. i'm still promote the products or services but the way i promote or market the product is different. but we still use the same methods and skills which is communication skill. betul kan?

i'm admit that i'm more to outdoor marketing and love to meet people but i'm too desperate too get a job right now. i dont mind if i have to work in starbucks or even as a receptionist just to gain that valuable experience. mana ada orang start-start kerja gaji dah rm4000? (ulang balik apa yang "orang tu" cakap)... memanglah sangat betul. i dont want to wasting time and my dad's money just because i want to find a suitable job for me. hello julie, ko tu dah lah result cukup-cukup makan. lagi nak demand-demand. ko ingat ko bagus sangat sampai ko nak pilih-pilih kerja? ramai lagi yang lebih bagus dari ko kat luar sana. tau?

i did plan my life. if i still didnt get a job, i'll go for IMGLAD training or GEMS. its a training for a fresh graduate untuk prepare them before pergi ke dunia bekerjaya. sebab banyak sangat syarikat nampak yang fresh graduate yang tidak bermutu dan berkualiti. mereka tak dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan dunia pekerjaan, tak tahu how to improve soft skills, tak tahu nak grooming, jadi how to convince orang nak ambil kau kerja dengan diorang kan? these programs basically a 3-months programs. IMGLAD in one of the ISKANDAR Project yang kat selatan Johor tu, collaborating with UTM and Delloitte Institute from United Kingdom if i'm not mistaken. so the person who join this program will get the professional certificate from Delloitte & bila kau tunjuk resume kau nanti orang akan terpegun woooowwww....!!! same goes with GEMS, this is a government project but Khazanah Nasional yang handle and organize. cuma yang bestnya GEMS ni training dia ada di serata Malaysia and training di hotel-hotel (mcm orang gomen pergi kursus lah). if dapat kat terengganu, memang best ari-ari aku mandi laut je keje hahahaha....

these programs ada banyak organizations yang support contohnya shell, sime darby, pnb, kazanah national itself, and many more. jadi masa training tu nanti wakil-wakil dari these organizations akan datang & perhatikan kita semasa training and will choose which one of us will work for them. its something like job matching gak. interesting kan? so why not i give a try. dapat duduk hotel if join GEMS, dpt tinggal kat UTM Johor & pergi Danga Bay hari-hari kalau join IMGLAD, dapat jumpa kawan baru & kemungkinan dapat jodoh baru hahahaha **gatal kau nih.

so guys give a try. aku pun akan try. aku pun takkan memilih pekerjaan. there's a lot of opportunities out there and u just have to boost yourself. jauh perjalanan, luas pemandangan, banyak pengalaman. banyak pengalaman banyaklah gaji kita boleh demand kan? ni lah pepatah yang aku belajar dari kebanyakan mereka yang berjawatan tinggi. jadi remember this all the time.

and don't forget: life is an ongoing learning expereience!
pergi mana2 pun keje, we always have to learn something new.
besides than experience, and training, your attitude towards learning new things is important too!

i did my internship at amanah saham nasional berhad... we did promote the asb scheme to malacca. i went to almost all school in malacca, factories, and companies such as tnb. its a outdoor marketing and was soooooo exciting...but quite tiring because we have to go from blocks to blocks in school, class by class, and gave briefing and talk the same thing all the time...try apply... its an interesting job. i wish i could work with asnb one day :]
